Is perception reality? That is the question at hand. In a completely subjective, emotional sense maybe. However, outside of this ego-centric emotionally based personal perception, reality often differs greatly from perception. With this in mind I argue that the conventional perception of government is most definitely not reality.

Reuters has just released a piece about a foolish politician, Connecticut lawmaker Frank Nicastro, suggesting that it is his duty to bailout failing newspapers. Obviously this is a absurd suggestion, but the absurd is the rule and not the exception in recent times.
