How about reporting that Ron Paul won the California Straw Poll?
It’s kind of a big deal. Well, it would have been a big deal had somebody else won, apparently.
Did you know that not only did Ron Paul win the California straw poll, Texas cancelled their straw poll.
Why? Word has it that Ron Paul would have beat the pants off of Rick Perry and the establishment couldn’t have one of their front runners looking bad….not one their boys.

It is becoming really obvious that the media has it out for Ron Paul. CNN and Fox have repeatedly pulled cheap tricks to reduce Ron Paul’s victories. And the point I am making is not just about Ron Paul. This is about the media and the political system.
Do you want a system of elections where the information is manipulated to give you only the information that the political establishment feels you should have? Do you want a system of elections where the information is presented to you in a way so subjective that it is meant to shape your perception and steer you toward certain candidates? Is that what you want?
If so, you’ve got it.
If not, you had better do something about it. There is a man out there winning straw polls and winning post debate viewer polling consistently and the media is either (a) ignoring it (b) making light of it (c) marginalizing that candidate
Of course, then there is the candidate who should be in all the debates but the high & mighty mainstream media won’t allow him appear but a couple of times. How very generous to let the common folk hear a small sample of a non-establishment candidate.
There is no doubt the mainstream media is screwing with Ron Paul. I guess they will keep doing so as long as people…
- Don’t turn the channel
- Don’t tell the media they disapprove and will not put up with it
- Don’t vote with their wallet - For instance, start withholding their money from the advertisers on the networks who engage in these kinds of actions.
As long as people believe the tired line that you are wasting your vote or put up with this poor excuse of an election process we have, that is exactly what they will get.
