The President of The United States of America made a speech. During the speech he used a double entrendre.
“Michelle outdoes me in pushups as well,” he said, after saying that she’s taken some criticism on her technique “because she doesn’t go all the way down”
The crowd laughed. Haha…that was funny. That was oral sex humor. Tee hee.
The media reported it as though the joke was cool stuff. Boy, don’t we have one hip President? Then, the media and the White House realized that plenty of people across the 57 states (not including Alaska & Hawaii, of course) didn’t think that was very presidential.
Now, the media has changed their tune.
- The crowd misunderstood his words.
- It was a very scripted speech and the President was blind-sided
Really, blind-sided by the script? He can’t help but read the words exactly as they are written?
Who is our President? Ron Burgundy?

Just imagine it…
Ladies and Gentlemen, the President of the United States of America…Ron Burgundy.
Why not? This fiasco is almost right out of the movie.
Is the media going to go that far out of their way to cover for the President’s actions?
Or…
Do we have a President whose actions are comparable to a clownish character in a wacky comedy?
Can the “leader of the ‘free’ world” really be foiled by a teleprompter?
You know what they say. Live by the teleprompter. Die without the teleprompter.
I suppose this shouldn’t be a surprise. George Bush had similar moments.
The current Vice President, Joe Biden, has more of these moments than he has coherent moments.
Maybe Americans should raise their standards…or maybe Americans can just stop worshiping politicians.
